had the pleasure of watching two of my dearest friends get hitched today. the beautiful bride, trying really hard to maintain composure, after her dad walks her down the aisle. at one point mid-hug we could see her mouthing, “shit… shit… damnit!”
♥♥ some of my favorites from my brother’s wedding, accompanied by the song that frances walked down the aisle to: turn your eyes upon Jesus by peter rogers. and because i’ve been having trouble finding my own, i’ll steal words St. Paul wrote to the Ephesians: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you… and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us.”
